Configure UserProfile Service Application on SharePoint Server 2013

1. Verifythat the user account that is performing this procedure is a member of the FarmAdministrators group for the farm for which you want to create the serviceapplication.

2. Onthe Central Administration home page, in the Application Managementsection, clickManage service applications.

3. Onthe Manage Service Applications page, on the ribbon, click New,and then clickUser Profile Service Application.< http://www.2cto.com/kf/ware/vc/" target="_blank" class="keylink">vcD4KCjxwIGFsaWduPQ=="center">

4. CreateUser Profile Service Application

5. Click on Create.
Now we need to start User profile service from Manage Services on the server.For that go to Central Admin >>Under System Setting >> ManageServices on the server

6. Start User Profile Service then start User ProfileSynchronization Service, It will ask you about your farm administrator accountspassword. User profile service will take 15-20 minutes to start.

7. Now we to Reset IISserver. Go to Run >> Type IISReset
Configure Synchronization Connection, for that navigate to CentralAdministration >> Application Management >>Manage ServiceApplication >> User Profile Service >> Configure SynchronizationConnection

8. Create New Connection

9. After clicking populate containers,the containers will be displayed:

10. Click OK.
Go back to User Profile Service and User Profile Synchronization underSynchronization Option.
Select “Start Full Synchronization”
